Nyla is
one of our first heavy wool dams that were used to cross to the Peruvian
Suri imports. She is a blend of some of the domestic greats like
Equinox (a grand daughter), Errol Flynn & Elka, who contribute the
e-line factor. Her grand dam Oak Hill Renata (full Chilean) Aureliano X
Tomollas Remedios, was the only llama that retained her neck wool in the
extremely hot conditions at the now disbanded Richard Freeman Llama
operation near Lake Pontchartrain, Louisiana. Nyla has been a wonderful
producer as evidenced by sample photos of her offspring. Nymph (Kantu x
Nyla) was a high seller to Animal Acres at the first Hard Rock Sale.
Niccolet was an equally good seller at the 2nd Co-rect sale
to Mary Reed. Novation sold as a Suri breeding male off the farm to
Wild West Llamas in Montana. Nyla always produces a robust baby that
has great fiber & above average size. This is an excellent offer with
an experienced producer with a strong healthy female cria at side. |

We have
placed Sage in our top 5 of the best producers during Star Llama
Company’s 25 years of operation. She is half Peruvian and half Chilean
and that blend has been excellent from a production standpoint. We have
retained her son, Strictli Business, as a Kantu line Suri herd sire and
his first cria is a great little appy Suri male. A sample of Sage’s
offspring shown below includes Star Sunfire, the multi grand champion
Suri female, now owned by Kent Rock Meadows in GA. Another daughter,
Salariat, sold in the spring ‘08 Celebrity Sale to Flightless Farms.
Sage is due for her next cria in Oct. 2008 and is bred to Lord of the
Ringlets, who is 4 for 4 with Suri fiber on his first crias. She is a
great producer due to have another cria shortly. Another experienced
Dam bred to a great male and ready to produce a dividend soon. |

The dam of this young gal is
the full sister to our herd sire Precedent. She has a balanced
frame and excellent wool coverage and a genetic background that will
lean toward producing suri offspring when bred to a suri sire. She has a
great set of ears and will be ready to breed in the spring of 2008.

association, including Maximo PC-1, the Peruvian suri champion, before
